NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL
PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Poway will hold a Public Hearing to consider the following item:
Resolution Establishing Assessments for Poway Lighting District to be Collected on the San Diego County Property Tax Roll for Fiscal Year 2015/2016.
Fiscal Year 2015/2016 ASSESSMENTS are required to be collected in the amount of $688,703.27 for the purpose of maintaining facilities within Poway Lighting District. FACILITIES are defined as streetlights, traffic signals, lighted street signs, and flashing beacons located within the City limits.
The Zone A ASSESSMENT RATE for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 is proposed to remain at the 2014/2015 fiscal year rate of $15.00 per benefit unit per year for improved parcels and $7.50 per benefit unit per year for vacant, buildable parcels.
The Zone B ASSESSMENT RATE for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 is proposed to remain at the 2014/2015 fiscal year rate of $3.75 per benefit unit per year for improved parcels and $1.88 per benefit unit per year for vacant, buildable parcels.
The Zone C ASSESSMENT RATE for Fiscal Year 2015/2016 is proposed to remain at the 2014/2015 fiscal year rate of $13.58 per benefit unit per year for improved parcels and $6.80 per benefit unit per year for vacant, buildable parcels.
